Ultimately with non-conventional photographic pursuits you start to study some of the bigger names such as Edward Weston.
It’s certainly not my intention to elevate my work to the quality he produced but rather spend an afternoon studying the effects of form and light on everyday objects that do have a certain lustful appearance.
I may return to this study later, but it feels like any work here would ultimately lead me into derivatives of Weston’s works. That being said I can see how form is becoming very important to my visual desires as no matter where I look in life everything is becoming reduced to it’s basic shapes. Not a bad way to see the world.
